Aston Villa, Cardiff, Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest favourite training at League Two club after QPR exit

Former Aston Villa winger Albert Adomah was in action for a League Two club over the weekend.
Adomah was released by QPR at the end of the 2023/24 campaign, and is now on the hunt for the next club, as he extends his 18-year playing career by at least one more season. He was playing in the Championship last term, but he could now find himself dropping two divisions.

"Albert's delivery is probably second to none," said Mat Sadler who is running the rule over the forward.
"I think he's still got possibly got the best delivery in the Championship let alone if he was to play in League Two.
"There is still some work to be done on that one. We'll see how things pan out.

The 36-year-old has spent the majority of his career in English football's second tier, and has made the most appearances in the division out of any player. When he featured in a 4-0 win against Leeds United at the end of April, he made his 525th appearance, and just a week later, the Hoops announced his departure.
Middlesbrough is where Adomah played most of his football, making 143 appearances, scoring 26 goals and setting up 19. He played for Bristol City prior to his move to Boro, and got 29 assists and 17 goals in 136 games.
His other clubs of course include QPR where he played 130 times, and then Villa with 125 games, and also Barnet where he ran out 120 times. Adomah had a season at Nottingham Forest in 2019/20, and was also on loan to Cardiff City for a brief period.
