Late goals against Brighton give the new manager a perfect start

A new manager, a sell-out crowd and one of the most exciting Villa games for a long while. Fans however, had to wait 82 minutes before Ollie Watkins hit the back of the net with Tyrone Mings sealing victory in the 89th minute.

It was the perfect start for new manager Steven Gerrard leaving fans in a celebratory mood as they left Villa Park.
