After three weeks of the summer transfer window, Aston Villa have already snapped up Boubacar Kamara on a free transfer.
However, his move to Villa Park won’t become official until today - when his contract with Marseille expired.
July 1 is the day where a number of the world’s biggest stars became free agents and are now available for absolutely nothing.
While the likes of Paul Pogba and Divock Origi already look set to move to Italy, plenty of new free agents are still on the search for a new challenge ahead of last season.
