Following on from their strong 2022/23 season, Aston Villa are expected to get stuck into the summer transfer window and bring in some exciting new signings. As it stands, Unai Emery’s side have already been linked with several high profile players but naturally, they face competition from the rest of the Premier League clubs, who are also looking to strengthen their ranks.

1. Likely: Harry Maguire from Manchester United
The centre-back has accepted he will likely be parting ways with United this summer and Aston Villa are the front-runners for his signature.
2. Likely: Harvey Barnes from Leicester City
Following the Foxes’ relegation, quite a few players have been tipped to leave and Villa are out in front to snap up Barnes this summer.
3. Likely: Youri Tielemans from Leicester City
Villa have been tipped to land a double swoop for both Barnes and Tielemans. The Villans are now favourites ahead of Arsenal and Newcastle to sign the Belgian.
4. Likely: Tammy Abraham from AS Roma
Emery and his team are the favourites to sign the striker and the club is said to be confident they can get the deal done.
