Unai Emery is keen to get his business underway at the earliest opportunity as he looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season’s campaign in the UEFA Champions League. Not only that, but Villa will be keen to secure their standing in the Premier League’s top four.
The Villans must sell before they can buy as the club is walking a fine line with the English top tier’s strict profit and sustainability regulations (PSR). The deadline to deal with those concerns is June 30, but Villa should be able to spend a little more freely after that point.
Dealings will still have to be sensible as to not get into financial troubles in the future, but Emery is expected to have a little more wiggle room. With that in mind, there have already been 41 players linked with a move to Villa Park.
Some of these are getting closer to a switch according to very credible reports, whereas others are linked a little more loosely. Starting with those nearest signing for Villa and then in no particular order from that point on, here’s every player reportedly on the club’s radar this summer.
