Aston Villa ‘close in’ on ‘sensational’ move for £30m winger

According to The Express, via Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Aston Villa are said to be ‘closing in’ on a ‘sensational transfer’ for winger Nicolo Zaniolo. Unai Emery’s side have apparently put forward a formal bid to sign the player from Turkish club Galatasaray.

The 24-year-old had been linked with Newcastle United this summer but Villa have now offered to take him in on loan with an option to buy, However, there is apparently no agreement in place between the two sides yet, but the player is keen on the move.

Fulham ‘close’ to signing former Wolves favourite

Per a report from The Athletic, Fulham are close to signing former Wolves winger Adama Traore on a free transfer. The 27-year-old left Molineux in the summer at the end of his contract and is now set to link up with Marco Silva’s side.

The proposed deal is said to be at an advanced stage with Fulham keen to strengthen in wide areas following the departures of Dan James, Manor Solomon and Neeskens Kebano.
