Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz and Villa Women star Alisha Lehmann have shown there is no substitute for love – by sharing Valentine’s Day Instagram story posts.
Brazilian midfielder Luiz and Swiss international Lehmann first publicly declared their feelings in November last year with a passionate snap on social media.

Hide AdThree months on, 23-year-old forward Lehmann, who has 6.3 million Instagram followers at @alishalehmann7 and Luiz, 23, who has 785,000 followers at @dgoficial have again got fans talking.
Lehmann posted ‘Meu Amor’ – Portuguese for ‘My Love’ - and Luiz shared the post with the reply ‘My love’.
It was a mixed weekend for the duo on the pitch as Lehmann grabbed an assist in Villa Women’s 2-0 Women’s Super League win at Everton, but Luiz was ineffective in the men’s 1-0 Premier League defeat at Newcastle United.
