It hasn't just been the last few years when it has been the most exciting, though, with much of the more nostalgic, historical seasons living long and strongly in memory.

This can definitely be said for the likes of Birmingham City, Sheffield Wednesday, Blackburn Rovers and Middlesbrough as it has been a long while since they graced the top flight.
