More than 50 hours of badminton was played during 155 matches during six days of world class action in front of a proud and passionate international audience. The tournament began on March 14 and ends on March 19. It brought together players from all over the world.
Since 1994, the tournament - which is a highlight of international badminton championships - has been hosted by Birmingham every year. This year, teams from multiple countries including South Korea, Japan, China, Indonesia, India, Denmark, England joined the tournament to give audiences six days of entertainment.
