Here's everything I'd be adding to my trolley before kick-off including savings on pizza to crowd-pleasing snacks and drinks.
Whether you're hosting friends or settling in on the sofa for the big game, the right food is just as important as the football. There's nothing better than a table full of easy, crowd-pleasing snacks that everyone can help themselves to throughout the match.
I've been browsing Sainsbury's latest offers and found everything you need for the ultimate football feast, from an impressive pizza meal deal to classic crisps, dips and drinks that are guaranteed to disappear before full-time. If I was planning my match day menu, these are the products I'd be stocking up on.
When it comes to creating the perfect match day spread, the standout offer has to be Sainsbury's 2 pizzas + 1 garlic bread + 1 drink for under £10. It's an easy way to feed a group without spending a fortune, and with a choice of pizzas and drinks included, everyone can pick their favourite.
I also can't resist adding something sweet to the table, and Sainsbury's Football Cupcakes are a fun finishing touch for any football gathering. Decorated with football-inspired designs, they're perfect if you're hosting family or friends and are sure to be a hit with younger fans too.
No football night is complete without a big sharing bag of crisps, and Doritos Tangy Cheese Sharing Crisps are always one of my top picks. I'd definitely pick up a tub of Doritos Mild Salsa Sharing Dip too.
Of course, no match day feast is complete without plenty of drinks, and Pepsi Max No Sugar is one I'd always make sure I have stocked up. For those looking for a classic football pairing, Carlsberg Danish Pilsner is another great addition to the fridge.
It's simple, affordable and means there's something for everyone, whether they're there for the football, the food or both. It's an easy way to serve a delicious match day feast without blowing the budget.
