House of Dragons is coming to HBO and is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones

The Game of Thrones prequel - House of Dragons - will hit the screens of HBO Max subscribers and HBO on 21 August. The show is based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, and is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones takes place.
