Godiva Festival 2024: Lineup including Richard Ashcroft and Paloma Faith announced for Coventry music festival

The lineup for Godiva Festival 2024 has been announced, with three ‘international superstars’ set to headline the event.

The festival will take place at Coventry’s War Memorial Park from July 5 to July 7.

Councillor Abdul Salam Khan, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Events at Coventry City Council, said:

“This year’s line-up sees international superstars taking to our stages at the War Memorial Park in Coventry alongside some of the city’s up and coming finest musical talent.

“Our line-up reflects this year’s theme which is Worldwide Welcome.

“We have something for everyone across the weekend. Whether it’s our drum and bass artists on Friday night or family activities on Sunday afternoon, the diversity of our festival caters for our city.

When do tickets go on sale and how much do they cost?

Godiva Festival 2024 Early Bird tickets will be available to buy from 9am on March 1 through the official festival website.

Standard day tickets start at £7.50 (Early Bird price) whilst family day tickets start at £22.50.

Standard weekend tickets can be purchased for £26 (Early Bird price) and the cost of a family weekend ticket starts at £79.

Super Concession prices are available for Go CV+ members.

What activities are on offer for families?

Godiva Festival 2024 will feature the Serendipity Stage, located on The Family Field. Here families can watch Dr Ranj’s Teddy Bear Hospital and SK Schlomo’s Beatbox for Kids show.

Other family activities include have-a-go circus, sports activities, outdoor dance, street performers and fashion shows.

Who will be headlining Godiva Festival 2024?

Richard Ashcroft, former frontman of The Verve, will headline on (Friday) July 5. Ashcroft has had three top three albums and received the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music in 2019.

Paloma Faith will take the headline slot on (Saturday) July 6. Paloma will be performing songs from her new album ‘The Glorification of Sadness’ along with hits from her back catalogue.

Beverley Knight MBE will be headlining on (Sunday) July 7. Knight has won three MOBO Awards, a Lifetime Achievement Award and was awarded an MBE for contribution to music in 2006.

Other artists who will be performing at the festival include Sam Ryder, The Brand New Heavies, Rishi Rich, Holy Goof, Lady Leshurr and The Primitives.
