Firefighters had closed a road in Aston after an empty building caught on fire today (June 10).
The fire took place in a derelict pub - The Vine - and Lichfield Road was closed while fire crews battled the blaze.
Lichfield Road is now open both ways in and out of the city and businesses in the local area remain open and continue to operate, said the West Midlands Fire Service.
