Solihull town centre gym announces closure in email to members

The Xcelerate Gym in Solihull high street has announced that is has closed in an email to its members on Monday morning (October 23).

The gym, which is part of the Xcelerate franchise, opened its doors in Clarendon House in 2021, but announced to customers that it has closed its doors.

In an email sent to gym members on Monday, a statement read: "We are very sorry to inform you that as of this morning, XCELERATE GYM Solihull is closed and will not be reopening.

"We are incredibly disappointed to have to share this news with you and we apologise for the immediacy of this announcement. However, despite all our best efforts, the gym will now close with immediate effect."

A spokeperson for the site, said: “The landlord has regained possession of the premises in accordance with the terms of the lease.”

Xcelerate opened above the Warren James Jewellers on the High Street. Xcelerate has other gyms in London (Edgware, Forest Hill) and West Sussex.
