Woman on mobility scooter dies after car crash in Chelmsley Wood

A woman riding a mobility scooter has died after a crash with a car in Chelmsley Wood on Saturday aternoon (1 October).
Police were called to Bosworth Drive just after 1pm where a woman in her 50s was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hide AdThe driver of the car, a woman in her 60s, is helping with the West Midlands Police investigation.
A statement from the force, read: We were called to Bosworth Drive just after 1pm. The woman, in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family is being supported by officers.
“The driver of the car, a woman in her 60s, has been spoken to by officers and is helping with our investigation.
“Anyone with information has been asked to contact us via live chat, quoting log 1827 of 1 October.
