Wolverhampton pumpkin patch reschedules 'after dark' event due to Storm Austen
A new date has been set.
A Wolverhampton pumpkin patch has postponed its ‘After Dark’ event due to adverse weather conditions.
Beech House Farm Pumpkins, at Seisdon, was due to host the event tonight (Friday, October 23) but have made the decision to reschedule it as the region is battered by Storm Austen.
Organisers said the decision had been made to prioritise the safety of visitors and staff, despite their disappointment at having to postpone the event.

A post on the farm’s Facebook page added: “We’re so sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience, but the safety of everyone involved has to come first.
“Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We can’t wait to welcome you all on Sunday for a fantastic evening!”
The event will now be held on Sunday, October 25.
Tickets purchased for the original date will automatically remain valid for the same time slot on Sunday, either 5pm to 7pm or 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
Ticket holders will be contacted by email and anyone unable to attend on the rearranged date can request a refund by replying to the email.
Additional tickets will also be released for Sunday's event, giving those who missed out another opportunity to attend.
The event will feature live music from Mollie Hickman, artisan coffees, teas and speciality hot chocolates from The Cocoa Caravan, and hot food from Beech House Farm Kitchen, including locally sourced British meat from Arbuckles Butchers in Bridgnorth.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy the illuminated pumpkin patch.
