Thousands of music lovers descended on the NEC in Birmingham over the weekend for one of the most popular UK festivals.
Music stars from across the globe wowed the crowds at Wireless Festival 2022, as a host of stars took to the stage at the Birmingham venue, which took place in the NEC’s car park.

Hide AdThere were brilliant performances from the likes of British rapper Dave, American rapper Gunna, London-born Little Simz, Cardi B, Central Cee, Chris Brown ‘Breezy’, City Girls and Jack Harlow.
There were fun fairs, VIP stages and DJ sets from DJ Russke and other amazing Birmingham DJs throughout the festival, which took place on a scorching weekend in the West Midlands.
What are fans saying about the festival?
Many people who attended the festival raved about the performances of the artists on social media.
One festivalgoer tweeted: “Cardi and Offset killed their Wireless Birmingham set!”

Hide AdAnother wrote: “Best performers of the night for Saturday Wireless Birmingham gotta be Cardi B, Chris Brown and Lil Baby in that order.”
Praising J Cole’s performance, one person tweeted: “J Cole tore up Birmingham Wireless Festival to a point he blew the speaker system twice! Amazing performance again.”
Another said: “You had to be at Cardi’s Wireless set in Birmingham tonight it was unreal.”
Some people did report sound issues during performances at the festival.

Hide AdOne person tweeted: “Absolutely fuming with J Cole performance. Sound cut out twice for the right side, couldn’t hear a thing, second time screens too and then he left. Quite sad I am.”

Will Wireless return to Birmingham next year?
As well as its annual London show, Wireless added additional weekends at Finsbury Park and in Birmingham for 2022.
It’s currently unclear whether the festival organisers will adopt the same approach next year, or whether it will just hold the festival in the capital.
