It’s unclear which role Holland auditioned for, although it’s not surprising the Hollywood actor wanted to be part of Steven Knight’s BBC One drama.
A number of big names have appeared in the show over the last few years, including Tom Hardy, Oscar-winner Adrien Brody, and more recently The Queen’s Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy.

Who is in the Peaky Blinders season 6 cast?
The show is returning for its sixth and final series later this month on Sunday, February 27.

Also returning is the Shelby gang, who have starred in the series alongside Murphy since series one.
This includes Paul Anderson (Arthur Shelby), Harry Kirton (Finn Shelby) and Sophie Rundle (Ada Thorne).
Sadly, critically acclaimed actress and Peaky Blinders’ Aunt Polly, Helen McCrory, passed away in April after years of battling cancer.
