Birmingham police search for 'distressed woman' after car incident in Balsall Heath

West Midlands Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident in Balsall Heath on Friday morning (December 29).

Hide AdThe force is asking for help to identify a dark coloured car – possibly an Audi A3 or similar – after an incident on Vincent Street in Balsall Heath just after midnight on Thursday night into Friday morning.
The force received several reports of a woman in distress in the vehicle. The car stopped on Vincent Street as the woman tried to exit the vehicle but she was forced back in according to witnesses who attempted to assist her. Police said the car drove off into George Street.
A police statement, read: "We received several reports of a woman in distress in the vehicle and we need to make sure that she is alright. The car stopped on Vincent Street as the woman tried to exit the vehicle but she was forced back in according to witnesses who attempted to assist her.
