Delays near West Midlands after multi-vehicle crash closes lane between J4a and J5 on M5

West Midlands Roads said motorists should expect delays linking towards the West Midlands

A lane is closed on the M5 southbound between J4A and J5 due to a multi-vehicle collision this morning (Tuesday, December 12).

West Mercia Police are on scene with traffic officers and ambulance while recovery are also in attendance.

West Midlands Roads said on X, formerly Twitter: "Incident is off-region but expect delays linking towards the West Midlands." Motorists have been advised to take care on approach and allow extra time for your journey.
