West Bromwich motorcyclist, aged 15, seriously injured in crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a road collision in West Bromwich in which a motorcyclist was seriously injured.

The rider, a boy aged 15, was taken to hospital with serious injuries and remains in a critical, but stable, condition.

It happened near the junction of New Street and Tunnel Road, Hill Top, at around 4.30pm yesterday (27 March).

The driver of the Ford Focus remained at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and not already spoken to officers.

“We’re reviewing CCTV but will be particularly keen to speak with anybody who has footage which will assist with our investigation.
