West Bromwich: man jumps over petrol station counter and threatens shop worker with knife

Police are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man after he jumped over a cashier desk and threatened a shop worker with a knife, stealing money from the till.

The man’s face was covered, however West Midlands Police hope someone may recognise his clothing, or have seen him before or after this robbery that can help with the investigation.

The incident happened shortly after 6pm on Saturday night (2 April) on Birmingham Road, West Bromwich.

A spokesman for the force, said: “If you recognise him, or have any information, please contact us via Live Chat on our website or by calling 101. Please quote crime reference number 20/350417/22.”
