Recently, we’ve had a look at the famous faces - actors, musicians and even politicians - who were raised in and around Birmingham. Now, we’ve decided to take a look at the famous celebrities who grew up in nearby West Bromwich.
Many famous celebs were born in West Bromwich and grew up in and around the Black Country town. West Brom is, of course known, for its prestigious football club West Bromwich Albion, but there are also a number of high profile actors, comedians, footballers and rock stars who call West Brom their home.

5. Phil Lynott

6. Matthew Marsden. Estimated net worth: £10.7 million
The English-American actor is a famed producer and singer born in West Bromwich. He’s appeared in films such as Black Hawk Down, Helen of Troy and Transformers. He’s also publicly a fan of the Albion.
7. KK Downing
Also born in West Bromwich, K K Downing is the guitarist and a former member of the Birmingham heavy metal band Judas Priest. The band were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022
8. Al Atkins
