West Bromwich drug dealer jailed

A drug supplier who was running a county lines operation from his bedroom has been jailed. Jerome Jeffrey, from West Bromwich, was raided on the 21st October this year where police found 117 wraps of Class A drugs.

The 26 year old was sentenced to 58 months at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

3 year-old killed in collision in Tyseley

An three year old girl was tragically killed in a collision on a zebra crossing Thursday in Reddings Lane, Tyseley. A 24 year old man handed himself in to police a short time later and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

West Midlands Ambulance Service response two times slower

Ambulance delays in the West Midlands are said to be putting patients at risk. Figures show that response time to category 2 calls, which include strokes and other emergencies, was more than double the national average, with an average of around 45 minutes in September.
