A tree also blocked Oak Tree Lane in Bournville and near the Billesley pub.
Motorists have reported issues on the A38 Sutton Bypass.
Roads are closed, firefighters are working to clear the debris and buses have been diverted.

Hide AdA spokesman for National Express West Midlands said: "Due to a fallen tree in the middle of Brook Lane between Barn Lane and Coldbath Rd Service 11A/C will be on diversion in both directions via Addison Rd, Barn Lane, Wheelers Lane, Brook Lane to normal line of route. Apologies for any disruption caused."
Flood alerts have been issued for across the West Midlands, the Environment Agency said, with particularly heavy rain falling in the West Midlands.
