Birmingham weather: Mini heatwave to hit West Midlands this week - full forecast


Brummies should prepare for a week of sun as the UK is hit with a mini heatwave this week.
Across West Midlands, Thursday is likely to see temperatures of up to 27C, and 21C on Friday, according to the Met Office.

Hide AdThere will be plenty of sunshine throughout the week as we head into the weekend, with temperatures then expected to dip slightly to 19C on Saturday and 14C on Sunday (May 4), before cooling further next week.
Met Office meteorologist Craig Snell has said: “We’re certainly on track to see the warmest spell of the year so far.”

Wednesday to Friday: Any early morning mist and fog clearing quickly to bring another widely dry and settled day. Plenty of warm sunshine for all, with light winds. Maximum temperature 25 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday: Feeling fresher from Friday as temperatures gradually drop, returning to the seasonal average over the weekend. Small chance of showers on Friday, otherwise mostly dry during this period. Turning breezier.
