Birmingham is set to be hit by rain next week as the heatwave is forecast to come to an end. The Met Office has issued a yellow thunderstorm warning for Sunday (June 18) before wet weather rolls in for the rest of next week.

Although change is on the way for most of the UK, temperatures should continue to remain above average for this time of year. The city is set to experience an overcast and rainy weekend which will make a stark change from the sunnier weather that most of the UK has been experiencing over the last couple of weeks.
