Birmingham will have to endure freezing cold temperatures for at least a few more days, before being in for quite a radical change starting next week. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice on Sunday, as the last remnants of this year’s first cold snap makes its mark on the city.

The yellow weather warning, in place from 3am to 11am on Sunday (December 18), means there will be some possible icy patches on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths. The icy patches may cause injury, so be extra careful.
