The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms in Birmingham and the West Midlands this weekend.

A warning for thunder is in place on both Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21. The warnings are in place throughout both Friday and Saturday in the city.

Temperatures are expected to be around 20 degrees throughout the weekend, with a clearer day on Sunday with some sunny spells, according to the Met Office.
