Met Office issues Birmingham thunderstorm warning - full Birmingham forecast

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms in Birmingham and the West Midlands today (Monday, September 2).
The weather warning is in place from 2pm on Monday to 11pm tonight. The Met Office had said that temperatures could rise to around 21 degrees this afternoon with some light rain also forecast across the region.

Birmingham week forecast (September 2-8)
Today:
A very mixed day today, with outbreaks of rain and thunderstorms moving northwards across the region. Some drier and brighter interludes developing in-between the showers, and in any sunshine it will feel warm and humid. Maximum temperature 22 °C.
Tonight:
Thundery showers continuing this evening, then further less intense showers overnight, with some clearer spells developing at times. Some mist patches developing, and feeling a little fresher than last night. Minimum temperature 11 °C.
Tuesday:
Early showers fading to leave a lot of dry weather with sunny spells. A few showers may develop again later. Feeling a little fresher, but pleasant in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Hide AdOutlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Largely dry and bright on Wednesday, but turning unsettled again from Thursday onwards with outbreaks of rain and showers. Temperatures around average initially, but perhaps turning warmer again by Friday.
