Birmingham weather - here’s the daily forecast for Autumn half-term 2021

School’s out across the West Midlands for what is expected to be a dry Autumn half-term, with brief spells of sunshine and rainfall.

Experts have forecast mild temperatures and cloudy skies also.

Half-term starts next Monday on October 25 and lasts until Friday October 29.

Monday 25 October

The holiday will have a middling start, with cloudy skies and brief moments of sunshine across Birmingham.

Temperatures are set to be fairly mild at 14℃ and conditions will be dry.

Residents will feel a slight breeze, with the evening getting increasingly cloudy with 69% coverage.

Tuesday 26 October

Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny overall, with periods of clouding and a brief shower of rainfall.

Temperatures will become milder at 12℃.

There will be decent levels of sunshine throughout the day, though there will be a brief one hour period of rain that will total to only 0.8mm.

The evening will be dry as low clouds result in 100% sky coverage.

Wednesday 27 October

Conditions across the city will start to briefly become more miserable and overcast throughout Wednesday.

Temperatures will remain at a mild 12℃.

Throughout the day there will be two hours of rainfall totalling to 3.1mm.

The night will grow cloudy with showers continuing briefly in places.

Thursday 28 October

Showers will continue on into Thursday but only very briefly, with one hour predicted during the day and one hour during the late evening.

AccuWeather forecast that the weather will still remain largely dry, with extremely low levels of sunshine and cloudy skies continuing.

Mild temperatures of 11℃ remain.

Intermittent rainfall will continue into the evening in places but nothing too considerable .

Friday 29 October

Birmingham weather is at its wettest and most miserable as Autumn half-term draws to a close.

Four-and-a-half hours of rainfall will hit the city throughout the day but mostly at night time, totalling to around 11.1mm.

Mild temperatures will be at 11℃.

Skies are expected to be heavily cloudy with highs of 100% coverage.
