As we start the week we can expect fairly grey skies and rain across the West Midlands - with a chance that Birmingham could escape some of the rain. Temperatures across the region should reach highs of around 6 degrees.

The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for Birmingham, due to start at 9am on Tuesday for 15 hours.

Then as we move into the middle of the week, we can expect more rain across the whole region, with potential thunderstorms in Birmingham and Solihull. The temperatures should remain the same, hitting somewhere around 5 or 6 degrees.

And as we move towards the end of the week, on Thursday we can expect moderate rain, with temperatures of somewhere around 5 degrees.

Then on Friday we can expect things to dry up with overcast skies throughout the day, and temperatures of around 4 degrees, then as we move into the weekend there should be clear skies, and temperatures of around 4 degrees.
