Thick fog and mist set in on Boxing Day - it’s been pretty grey outside, but don’t worry as Sunday is set to be brighter.
Photographer Jack Babington set out to the city centre to capture these amazing images of a quieter city in the break between chaos of Christmas and build up to New Year.
The Met Office said weather in the West Midlands on Sunday and the rest of the week will be: “Cloud gradually clearing through the morning to leave a brighter day with sunny spells, especially through the middle of the day. Slightly breezier than on Saturday but feeling milder. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
“Largely dry, cloudy and breezy on Monday. Turning much more unsettled mid-week with strong winds at times and periods of heavy rain. Staying mild, though perhaps turning colder later.”
