Dizzee Rascal, the iconic grime artist, surprised fans with an impromptu gig right in the heart of Birmingham city centre today (Valentine’s Day). The Bullring, a bustling shopping destination, became the stage for this electrifying performance.

The rapper, with UK No.1 hit singles such as —“Dance Wiv Me,” “Bonkers,” “Holiday,” and “Dirtee Disco”—and won multiple awards, sang some of his new tracks from his latest album Don’t Take It Personal, as well as some of his classic hits that got the crowd cheering and dancing.

Don’t Take It Personal is a 16-track album that pairs him alongside grime legends like D Double, Frisco, and JME, as well as more contemporary artists such as Not3s and BackRoad Gee. The album showcases Dizzee Rascal’s versatility and talent as one of the pioneers of the UK grime scene.
