And those impressive results come despite the present semi-conductor supply shortages which have impacted on automobile manufacturers across the world.
JLR which has operations across the West Midlands continues to see strong demand and that’s good news for workers at the company’s Solihull plant who will produce the vehicle on a new state of the art production line.
Professor Gerry McGovern, chief creative officer at JLR said: “This is the Range Rover that brings home the modernist design technology. Because before it we didn’t have the technology to achieve it.

Nick Collins, Executive Director, said : “This new Range Rover is just packed full of class leading technology. We have an incredible range of plug-in hybrid, and full batch of electric Range Rover. It’s all new from the ground up. We’ve got some incredible new technology, including tech of from active noise cancellation and tech which can even filter out Covid pathogens. It cocoons you in luxury transportation.”
Martin Johnson, former England Rugby Captain, who grew up near Solihull said: “I’ve always had affinity with Range Rovers. It’s so impressive.”
