Police are appealing for help to find a man who’s wanted over a series of ‘really nasty assaults’ on random people in the Black Country.

Twenty-three-year-old Jardel Faure, from Cradley Heath, is believed to have been part of a three-strong group who attacked at least five people on the evening of 21 October, including a woman who was hit across the head with a vodka bottle.

It started at around 6pm in Stourbridge High Street when a man was kicked and bitten in the street before the group got on a bus to Brierley Hill.

A woman was verbally abused by the men in Dudley Road and then struck with a bottle; her partner and another man were also attacked when they came to her aid.

And later a 16-year-old boy was bitten and kicked to the ground before being stamped on in Merry Hill bus station.

A statement from West Midlands Police read: “We’ve already arrested two men, aged 19 and 25, in connection with the seemingly motiveless attacks; they are now on police bail with strict conditions.

“However, we’ve not yet caught up with 23-year-old Faure and are appealing for any information on his whereabouts.”

If you have seen him or believe you know where he is then call police on 999. Alternatively, you can speak to the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111; you won’t be asked for your name and calls cannot be traced.
