Kamran Mahmood charged with kidnap & five robberies in Walsall

A man has been charged with robbery, burglary and kidnapping after a series of incidents in Walsall.

Kamran Mahmood was charged with five robberies, one attempted robbery, one kidnapping, one burglary and one count of possession of a bladed article in a public place. These relate to a number of incidents in the town in February and March.

The 21-year-old, from Darlaston, appeared at Walsall Magistrates Court today (Wednesday, March 8) for an initial remand hearing.

He was remanded in custody pending a future court date.
