Birmingham man jailed for terror offences

A Birmingham man was jailed last Friday for possessing and sharing extremist material online. Musa Muhammad from Wittton was sentenced to five years at Birmingham Crown Court after admitting to three offences, and will also be subject to a part 4 order for 15 years.

Dea John Reid family say they were let down as teen jailed for killing

Dea-John Reid’s family have said they were let down by the justice system after his killer was sentenced to only six and a half years for his killing. The trial heard that the 14 year old boy was hunted down by a group of youths who shouted racial slurs. The killer is expected to spend less than three years in custody.

Luxury Indian restaurant opens at Park Regis

Park Regis hotel’s new luxury restaurant Indus has opened to the public. The menu takes inspiration from the native home of the restaurant’s head chef, who brings his experience of working in five star hotels in India, using traditional methods to prepare the food.
