Trio guilty of killing family man in Sandwell

Three men have been convicted following the death of a Carl Woodall who was brutally beaten at an industrial premises in Sandwell last June. Mark Campbell and Simon Goldbourne were found guilty of murder, and James McGhee was found guilty of manslaughter at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

Report finds social services did ignore Arthur’s relatives

Hockley Flyover murals get listed status

Three concrete mural walls in the pedestrian concourse of Birmingham’s Hockley Flyover underpass are to be given listed status by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) on the advice of Historic England. The lively group of murals were built in a way to encourage people to climb on them.
