Body found after 21 year-old University of Birmingham student goes missing after a night out

The body believed to be missing university student Joseph Derbisz has been found by police officers off Edgbaston Park Road in Birmingham. The 21 year old went missing following a night out with friends on Saturday. The police are not treating his death as suspicious.

Moment a crime boss is arrested at Birmingham Airport for drugs trafficking offences

Video has been released of the arrest of the notorious crime boss Thomas Kavanagh for drug smuggling. The Irish national ran his empire from his mansion in Tamworth, with his accomplices Gary Vickery and Daniel Canning who both lived in Solihull. Kavanagh was sentenced to 21 years in prison this Monday.

Thousands attending Concert for Ukraine at Resorts World Arena

Thousands are set to attend a fundraising concert in aid of humanitarian efforts in Ukraine at Resorts World Arena. The two hour event will include artists such as Ed Sheehan and Snow Patrol. All revenue generated from the broadcast will be donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
