Tributes to cyclist who died in Solihull

The family of a cyclist who died last week in Solihull in a collision have paid tribute to her.  Jacqui Witham was cycling down Friday Lane on Wednesday 12th January when she was involved in the crash involving two vehicles. Ms Witham, 46, was critically injured and died a short time later.

2 men who died in a car crash in Bearwood have been named

The two men who died following a crash in Bearwood have been named. Yaseen Mohammed and Mohammed Ashraf, aged 24 and 28 years respectively, both passed away after the car they were in collided with a lamppost before setting on fire near Lightwoods Park on Hagley Road West.

Council tax bills set to rise by the maximum amount in Birmingham

Council tax bills are set to rise by up to three figures in Birmingham this year. Residents could see their yearly tax bills rise by between £34 and £105 as the city council considers raising council tax to the maximum amount allowed by the Government.
