Teen shot in Handsworth at Keon Lincoln memorial

A teenager was shot at Handsworth Cemetery during a tribute to Keon Lincoln on the first anniversary of his murder. Police were called to the scene just after 3pm on the 22nd January and the 17 year old was taken to hospital. Officers are appealing for witnesses.

Blues supporters protest ahead of clash with Barnsley

Birmingham City Supporters held a protest over the weekend to voice their frustrations over the club’s ownership. Fans marched from the city centre to St. Andrews’s Stadium to urge Birmingham Sports Holdings to sell the club following well documented difficulties on and off the pitch.

Heritage photos of the Electric Cinema unveiled

The iconic Electric Cinema has opened its doors again to the public after its future was thrown into doubt in March 2020 when the pandemic forced its closure, prompting fears it may never reopen again. An estimated £100,000 has been spent restoring the cinema.
