West Midlands hospital doctor arrested over alleged sex attacks on child patients

An investigation is taking place following the arrest of a doctor who worked at Russsell’s Hall Hospital on suspicion of child sex offences. The 34 year old who has not been named has been subject to a number of complaints, and Staffordshire police are working with the NHS on a major incident review.

Police believe Digbeth murder victim could have been the targret of a robbery

West Midlands Police believe that the man who was stabbed to death in Moseley Street in Digbeth may have been the target of a robbery. Police are keen to speak to a man pictured in CCTV footage who is thought to have spoken to the prime suspect.

Peaky Blinders pub boss will be running as candidate MP in Birmingham by-election

An eccentric landlord of the city centre pub The Peaky Blinder will be running as a candidate in the Birmingham by-election to replace to late MP Jack Dromey. He says he is hoping to liven up the election, and views his candidacy as a protest vote against a rotten system.
