Murder probe after man’s body found in Tysley home

A murder investigation is underway after a 30 year old man was found dead in a property in Tyseley on Monday night. A post-mortem is due to be held to establish exactly how he died. Another 30 year old man was arrested in Glasgow in relation to the incident.

JLR pauses car sales to Russia

Jaguar Land Rover have paused car sales to Russia following the Ukraine conflict. The company - who sold 6,900 cars in Russia last year - state that the current global context presents them with trading challenges, and they must prioritise the wellbeing of their workforce.

More than 100 of Birmingham’s children’s social workers quit

Figures show that more than 100 children’s social workers in Birmingham left their jobs last year. Anthony Dhadwal, senior press officer for the British Association of Social Workers, said there is a lack of support for new social workers, unmanageable workloads and deteriorating working conditions.
