Murder in Digbeth

A murder investigation has been launched after a man in his 40s was found with stab wounds in a flat on Moseley street in Digbeth. The victim died at the scene on Wednesday evening. Police have since sealed off the area and are appealing for witnesses.

The producers of Peaky Blinders are planning to open a chain of barber shops, pubs and restaurants around the country according to reports. It is also claimed that Caryn Mandabach Productions are also planning to release a range of aftershave and grooming products.

Esports championships to be piloted at the Commonwealth Games

An inaugural Esports pilot event is to be held in Birmingham when the city hosts the Commonwealth Games this summer. Esports, short for electronic sports, is a form of competition using video games. Led by the Global Esports Federation, it will have different medals organisation and governance to the Commonwealth Games.
