Man left 6 hours waiting for paramedics

A disabled man who wears a pendant alarm to contact emergency services was left waiting six hours for an ambulance following a fall at home. West Midlands Ambulance Service extended apologies to Mr Steele, stating that they are working to reduce delays.

Two World War II bombs found in Oldbury

A building site in Oldbury was evacuated on Monday after workers found what they believe to be World War Two era bombs. Police evacuated and cordoned off the site on Giffords Way, and urged those in the area to listen to officers as the situation develops.

Billboard bachelor Brummie wife search revealed as publicity stunt

Billboards that appeared around Birmingham of a man advertising himself in an attempt to find a wife has been revealed to be a publicity stunt by the Muslim dating app Muzmatch. Find Malik A Wife dot com billboards appeared in Perry Barr, Sparkbrook and Hockley with the caption “Save me from an arranged marriage”.
