2 men jailed for killing Liam Mooney in a hit and run

Two men have been jailed for killing a 16 year in a hit and run incident in Perry Barr. The driver, Paul Biggs, and his passenger Dale Sharpen were both jailed for 11 and 9 years respectively for manslaughter after ramming Liam Mooney off his moped in a lethal road rage attack.

Overnight maintenance to start on Spaghetti Junction with road closures on the M6

The M6 in Birmingham is set to experience intermittent closures up until March due to overnight maintenance work set to take place on Spaghetti Junction. The repair work is part of a Nation Highways scheme which includes resurfacing and repairs to 10 joints allowing movement of the structure.

Blues memorial match every year in tribute to Arthur

Birmingham City have announced that the club will be honouring the life of Arthur Labinjo-Hughes with a memorial match every year. This weekend players will be wearing commemorative shirts with “Arthur 6” printed on them.
