Fraud cases dramatically increase in the West Midlands

Fraud in the West Midlands increased by 16 per cent last year, with share sales and dating scams rising at the largest rates. Police and Crime Commissioner Simon Foster said that the national response to fraud and cybercrime lacks coordination and is failing victims.

Birmingham City University economist Steven McCabe warns the cost of living is set to rise even higher following the Russian attack on Ukraine. The Wireless Festival returns to Birmingham for the first time since 2014

The Wireless Festival is set to return to Birmingham this year for the first time since 2014. The event will take place at the Birmingham NEC from 1st July. British artist Dave will be joined by hip-hop megastars from the US to headline the festival.
