Court order to close problem property

West Midlands Police have secured a court order to close an exempt property in Stockland Green following a year of complaints regarding anti-social behaviour. From May 2021 there were 35 complaints from residents ranging from loud arguing, spitting, smoking cannabis and thefts from gardens.

Drug dealers jailed 251 years 

One of Birmingham’s biggest county lines operations has been brought down following the jailing of a man who ran a network between Birmingham and Leominster. Lee Sheldon Carr from Moseley supplied crack cocaine and heroin in the town from a cuckooed address. He was jailed for six years.

Peaky Blinder prison cells opened up

A new West Midlands Police Museum has opened as a new heritage attraction for the city following a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The Lock-Up in Steelhouse Lane has housed more than one million prisoners since 1891, including many members of the original Peaky Blinders.
