E-scooter rider left with serious injuries after hit-and-run

An e-scooter rider has been left with serious injuries following a hit and run in Newtown on Sunday. The 19 year old was hit by a motorbike outside Dixie Chicken, believed to be part of a convoy with other motorcyclists and quad bike riders seen heading out of the city.

Figures show that one in 30 people in the West Midlands are suffering from Long Covid. Across the UK, the number of people reporting Long Covid has grown to two million. The most common symptoms being fatigue, breathlessness, muscle aches and mental health problems.

Ozzy Osbourne undergoing major surgery

Birmingham metal legend Ozzy Osbourne underwent major surgery on Monday. His wife said that the surgery will determine the rest of the musician’s life. Further details have not been given on the surgery, however in a Classic Rock magazine interview last month, the star said he was awaiting neck surgery.
